LeBron James Focused on Game 7 vs. Pacers, Not Future with Cavs
LeBron James said after the Cleveland Cavaliers' 121-87 loss to the Indiana Pacers in Game 6 of their first-round playoff series Friday that he wasn't thinking about the possibility of Game 7 being his final outing with the organization.
According to ESPN.com's Dave McMenamin, LeBron said he is solely focused on extending the Cavaliers' season: "The thought of, 'If we don't play well it will be my last game of the year,' that will probably hit my mind, but I haven't thought about [it being my last game for the Cavs]."
James will have a chance to keep Cleveland's playoff hopes alive when the Cavaliers host the Pacers in Game 7 on Sunday.

The 33-year-old can opt out of his contract and become a free agent this offseason, and there is fear in Cleveland that he will. He already left the Cavaliers once in favor of the Miami Heat in 2010.
In March, Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer reported the Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets were the four teams on James' free-agent list.
LeBron will have a huge decision to make, but he opted to talk about the enormity of Sunday's Game 7 instead after Friday's blowout loss:
"It's just the love of the game and wanting to be remembered. Game 7, I always said, is the two greatest words in sports. But, I don't know, I played a Game 7 in the Finals, and there's no move on after that. So us having a Game 7 on our floor, our fans are going to be truly excited to be a part of that. And hope our guys are excited about that as well, and understand that just don't take those moments for granted. I've been a part of Game 7s for quite a while now, and it's just something that you wish you can get back and when you're done playing the game."
James has never played in a first-round Game 7 during his illustrious career. While he hasn't gotten much help from his supporting cast, he is averaging 32.7 points, 10.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game in the playoffs thus far.
The door is open for the Cavs to make a fourth straight run to the NBA Finals since every team in the Eastern Conference has its shortcomings, but a loss Sunday would mark the end of Cleveland's immediate championship contention provided James bolts.
