Dez Bryant Rumors: Panthers Not Expected to Pursue Former Cowboys WR
The Carolina Panthers can reportedly be scratched off Dez Bryant's list of potential suitors.
Citing two sources, the Charlotte Observer's Joseph Person reported on Friday that the Panthers are "not expected to pursue Bryant" after he was released by the Dallas Cowboys.
The Panthers have $7.5 million remaining in cap space and have already bolstered their receiving corps by adding Torrey Smith and Jarius Wright this spring.

Bryant, who told NFL Network's Jane Slater he would like to sign with one of Dallas' NFC East rivals, is also reportedly not an option for the Washington Redskins.
According to USA Today's Mike Jones, Bryant is not on their radar since the team signed Paul Richardson to a five-year, $40 million deal.
Bryant, a three-time Pro Bowler, finished last season with 69 receptions for 838 yards and six touchdowns. It was the first time in Bryant's career that he appeared in all 16 games but failed to crack 1,000 yards receiving.
