Bryce Harper Crushes Home Run After Fan Yells 'Overrated' in Nationals vs. Reds

They say the best revenge is living well. In baseball terms, this means hitting a home run.   

Washington Nationals star Bryce Harper utilized this strategy Sunday against the Cincinnati Reds after a fan was heard calling him "overrated." The right fielder responded by hitting his second home run of the game:

This ninth-inning insurance run was actually important, with the Reds scoring two in the bottom of the frame to cut the lead to one. Washington was able to escape with a 6-5 win at Great American Ball Park and a three-game sweep in its first series of the 2018 season.

It's still early, but Harper is batting .400 through three games with two home runs and four RBI. He also has five All-Star appearances and the 2015 National League MVP award on his resume.

Opposing fans might have to try a new strategy to get in his head.
