Chelsea Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Antonio Candreva and Fernando Llorente
Chelsea have reportedly received a boost in their hopes of landing Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva, who would be available this summer for £18 million. Meanwhile, Fernando Llorente is still said to be on the Blues' wishlist.
Italian outlet Calciomercato (h/t David Wright of the Daily Express) reported Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants Candreva at Stamford Bridge to contest the right wing-back position alongside Victor Moses.
The 30-year-old would be available for £18 million, a very affordable fee compared to some of the huge transfer fees that have taken players to the Premier League so far this summer.

The Blues have already spent big to recruit striker Alvaro Morata, midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and centre-back Antonio Rudiger this summer, but Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol recently said more signings are wanted:
However, Federico Pastorello is the agent who represents Italy international Candreva, and he recently told Nerazzurri website FCInter1980.it (h/t Calciomercato) his client is happy at the San Siro as things stand: "Antonio is very calm at the moment and is only thinking about Inter. He's happy with the arrival of Spalletti as the new coach."
The 3-4-3 system often utilised by Conte last season helped lead Chelsea to the Premier League title and illustrated the impetus placed upon the strength of the team's wide areas and how essential they are at Stamford Bridge.
Bleacher Report's Adam Digby spoke of former Lazio talisman Candreva in May as one of the players at Inter around whom a new side capable of challenging for Serie A honours could be formed:
Elsewhere, Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has said Chelsea still hold out hope of signing Swansea City striker Llorente this summer, per the Daily Star's Jack Wilson:
"The Swansea striker Fernando Llorente is still of interest of Chelsea, too. I'm told he would cost in the region of £20 million. It should be stressed though at this point that no formal talks have taken place with Llorente.
"Llorente is recovering from the fractured arm that kept him out of Swansea's pre-season tour of the United States of America."
Bleacher Report's Dean Jones recently attested to the Blues' pursuit of the Spanish veteran, although he also hinted at last season's reserve option, Michy Batshuayi, as a contender deserving of his chance:
Chelsea already recruited Morata from Real Madrid as a likely replacement for Diego Costa, whom Conte is ready to sell after informing the player via text that he was no longer wanted in west London, per BBC Sport.
Llorente, 32, worked alongside the Chelsea tactician during their time together at Juventus and could provide a more experienced mind up front, although Swansea may hold out for a sizeable fee as they look to retain a star asset.
