Two Premier League title contenders will offer a preview of what's to come this season as Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur prepare to do battle in the 2017 International Champions Cup on Saturday.
The English pair will meet at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, having each already won once and lost once in the ICC thus far, and both teams still have a chance of topping the tournament's United States standings.
Manager Pep Guardiola saw his City side clinch their first victory of the 2017-18 pre-season tour on Wednesday, when they beat European champions Real Madrid 4-1 in Los Angeles.

Both Tottenham and City will be out to ensure they finish their respective International Champions Cup campaigns with a bang, and what better way to do so than by dashing a domestic rivals' hopes in the process?
City showed in the recent 4-1 drubbing of Real that they could be meshing as Guardiola hoped they might have done last season, with the Catalan pouring praise on star man Kevin De Bruyne after Wednesday's victory:
"Since I arrived I think Kevin, when his mood is optimistic, he's happy, quite well, he makes performances like this.
"It's difficult to find a player with his qualities. He runs and fights and moves and helps team-mates. It's not easy to find that all around the world.
"He will fight, pass, assist and do many things. Hopefully he can be stable in that way.
"When his mood is positive like in the last three weeks, he is able to do whatever he wants."
The Belgian enjoyed superlative form in Los Angeles and dazzled in the absence of Real stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos, although the bulk of manager Zinedine Zidane's first-string stars were present.
New signings Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy were absent from the City squad, but Spurs will have paid special attention to De Bruyne, who set up goals for Raheem Sterling and John Stones. ESPN FC's Dermot Corrigan was in awe of his talent:
Spurs have been impressive for parts of their pre-season as well, despite Wednesday's 3-2 defeat to a spirited Roma side taking the wind out of their sails prior to their last fixture in the United States.
Second-string men Harry Winks and Vincent Janssen scored consolatory goals for the north Londoners, but it was off the pitch that manager Pochettino drew some controversy, per the Sunday People's Steve Bates:
Having already beaten Paris Saint-Germain 4-2 earlier in the 2017 ICC—albeit after the French giants saw goalkeeper Kevin Trapp sent off—Spurs know they have the talent to take on the best teams present.
Both sides are in need of all the experimentation and preparation time they can get prior to the new season kicking off, and Saturday's clash could go either way as two titans go head-to-head in Nashville.
