Eder Brace Lifts Inter Milan to Victory over Bayern Munich at 2017 ICC
A pair of first-half headers from Eder saw Inter Milan to a 2-0 win over Bayern Munich on Thursday in the International Champions Cup.
The German side were slow out of the blocks early in the contest at the National Stadium in Singapore, allowing the Italian striker to escape his markers on a couple of occasions in the half and head home on both occasions.
A flurry of changes at half-time for Bayern were unable to trigger a comeback for Bayern, and manager Carlo Ancelotti will have been disappointed to see his side slump to defeat; the German champions have already lost 4-0 to AC Milan in this competition.

Here are some images that sum up the story of the match:
The Bundesliga side fielded a strong XI for this one, although they were caught out early on by the fast-starting Nerazzurri.
In the ninth minute, Inter were in front. Antonio Candreva was given time on the right flank and picked out a perfect cross in behind the Bayern defence, which Eder nodded home from close range.
Having struggled earlier in the ICC against Inter's great rivals Milan, the Bayern Twitter account lamented coming up short against another team from the City:
Bayern managed to establish themselves in the match after falling behind, although there was always a sense they could be exposed in defence and particularly on the flanks.
That happened in the 30th minute when Ivan Perisic raided down the left side. The Croatian winger, who has been linked with Manchester United as of late, per BBC Sport, dug out a beauty of a cross with his left foot. Once again, Eder was alert and thudded a header home.
As relayed by sports journalist Siavoush Fallahi, it was a nice move and finish from the Italian side:
While Inter were looking sharp in this encounter, Bayern were sloppy and struggling to settle into any kind of pattern.
With that in mind, it was no shock to see Ancelotti make adjustments at the interval, with Thomas Muller, Renato Sanches and Javi Martinez entering the fray.

Even with those changes, chances were rare for Bayern; Kingsley Coman came closest to reducing the deficit, although he saw his effort well blocked in the penalty area.
Indeed, Inter were comfortable in seeing the contest out and threatened the scoreboard the most in the second period. Joao Mario came inches away from adding the gloss to the scoreline, as he saw his free-kick crash off the post.
