Manchester City Cruise Past Real Madrid in 2017 ICC
Manchester City defeated Real Madrid 4-1 at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Wednesday night, as their International Champions Cup tour of the United States rolled on with the start of a new Premier League season fast approaching.
Nicolas Otamendi, Raheem Sterling, John Stones and Brahim Diaz were the four goalscorers for City, and it was the 17-year-old who stole the show in the 82nd minute when he curled one past Kiko Casilla from outside the box to cap off a big night.
Real Madrid's lone goal came courtesy of Oscar, who drilled home a wonder strike just before the final whistle to prevent City from securing a clean sheet.

Both sides were active early in the attacking third, and the Sky Blues looked especially sharp as they peppered shots at Keylor Navas after looking a bit lethargic in a 2-0 ICC loss to Manchester United on July 20.
But despite the positive interplay between Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne in the opening frame, City didn't have any goals to show for an encouraging first-half effort.
Real Madrid countered with solid runs from Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale that were facilitated by Luka Modric, but they were in the same boat and couldn't break through by the time the break rolled around.
The deadlock was broken just a few minutes into the second half, though, when Otamendi found the back of the net after Navas saved Stones' initial header and opened up an uncontested rebound opportunity.
That lead was doubled seven minutes later, in the 59th, thanks to Sterling, who capitalized on a nifty feed from De Bruyne and calmly slotted one home past the Madrid keeper.
City's attack continued to press, even with a two-goal cushion, and the result was a Stones tally in the 67th minute to put a bow on things, according to ESPN.com's James Tyler:
Both sides will be back in action Saturday for their final ICC appearances this summer.
Real Madrid will do battle with Barcelona at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, while Manchester City will travel to Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, for a showdown against Tottenham Hotspur.
