Chelsea Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Moussa Dembele and Michy Batshuayi
Celtic striker and Chelsea target Moussa Dembele is reportedly eager to move on from Scotland this summer, with the Premier League among his preferred destinations.
According to RMC Sport (h/t Alex Wood of the Daily Star), despite speculation linking him with Marseille, the Frenchman would rather move to the Bundesliga or the English top flight.
Chelsea are said to be among the Premier League teams monitoring the 21-year-old, along with Arsenal.

Per Wood, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers hopes to keep hold of Dembele and believes he is more likely to push for a move away next summer rather than this year:
"I counted the other day, Moussa has been linked with 10 clubs.
"It was Marseille the other day, I saw Arsenal the other week, there was Paris Saint-Germain, there was Chelsea so there is nothing in it from our perspective.
"I felt if he progressed the way we thought he'd progress and if he wanted to move any time it would be after the second year.
"There is no rush from Moussa's perspective. He is a player that we really want to keep and if anything [offer] did come in we would assess it."
The youngster represented something of a coup for Celtic last year when they signed him on the back of an eye-catching season with Fulham in which he netted 17 goals.
He has continued to thrive upon moving to Glasgow, per Squawka Football:
Chelsea have already brought in Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid this summer, but Dembele could give them further strength in depth up front.
There will be plenty of game time to go around next season as the Blues balance multiple competitions, including the UEFA Champions League, and should Dembele arrive at Stamford Bridge, he may also be sharing them with Michy Batshuayi.
According to the Evening Standard's Simon Johnson, Batshuayi's performances in pre-season are convincing Chelsea manager Antonio Conte to keep him at the club next year rather than loan him out.
The Belgian arrived for £33 million last year, and despite being given scant opportunity to showcase his talents, he took advantage of what few minutes came his way, per Squawka Football:
He also scored another four goals in the EFL and FA Cups.
Batshuayi has shone so far this summer, having scored five goals across Chelsea's three pre-season friendlies, twice apiece against Fulham and Arsenal and another against Bayern Munich.
Football journalist Dan Levene noted he was sending Conte a message:
According to Johnson, it is not only his goals but he has also impressed the Italian with his "all-round play in the games and, significantly, in training."
Even if Batshuayi does stay, Conte also "wants at least one more forward as back-up," which could leave open the possibility of Chelsea pursuing Dembele.
Batshuayi has proved he deserves a chance at Stamford Bridge, but even if he stays, Chelsea could be a little short on cover, so a third striker would be useful. However, given the role Dembele enjoys at Celtic, much would depend on whether he would accept the role of a back-up.
