Liverpool Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Naby Keita and Emre Can
RB Leipzig reportedly won't sell Liverpool target Naby Keita in this summer's transfer window. The Bundesliga club has turned down multiple bids from the Reds and isn't planning on parting ways with the midfield talisman just yet.
A senior official has revealed Keita won't be sold this summer, according to Sky Sports News. The report also detailed how Leipzig said they had "rejected a bid of over £67 million from an unnamed club" earlier this week.
It's not the first offer the club has received for Keita, per the report: "Sky sources understand Liverpool have had three bids rejected for the midfielder."

As Sky pointed out, Keita's £48 million release clause won't be active until next summer. It means Liverpool will have to wait before having a chance to land one of their top targets.
Such strong interest in Keita makes sense since the 22-year-old Guinea international has a game perfect for Liverpool's style of play. The Reds favour a pressing style, one based on winning the ball high up the pitch and making rapid exchanges of passes in the final third.
Keita would be comfortable in this style thanks to his physical power, energy and underrated technique. The gifted No. 8 scored eight times and provided seven assists in Germany's top flight last season, per WhoScored.com, as he helped Leipzig qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Liverpool also gained entry to Europe's premier club competition and could use Keita's combination of strength and skill. He would be an upgrade over Jordan Henderson and Emre Can.

Speaking of Can, manager Jurgen Klopp has played down talk the 23-year-old will move to Serie A powerhouse Juventus.
In fact, the Reds boss has said Liverpool are discussing a new deal for the player, whose contract expires in 12 months, per James Cambridge of the Daily Express: "Emre is a very important player for us. We don't want to sell or lose players who are in our first lineup or close to it. Emre is certainly one of them. We want to keep him and we're having good talks."
Can's links to Juventus have been growing stronger recently. Italian source Tuttosport (h/t MailOnline's Luke Augustus) reported the Bianconeri were planning a bid between £27 million-£31 million for the midfielder, who they see as the "heir of Sami Khedira."

However, Klopp sounds determined to keep this powerful runner at Anfield a little longer.
Keeping Can is one thing, but his place in the Liverpool starting XI would surely be under serious threat if the club convince Leipzig to soften their stance on Keita.
