Tottenham Beats Short-Handed PSG Behind 2 Late Goals in 2017 ICC Match
Paris Saint-Germain spent the entirety of the second half against Tottenham Hotspur Saturday playing with 10 men. Eventually, the disadvantage took its toll.
Toby Alderweireld broke a 2-2 deadlock in the 82nd minute with a strike from outside of the box, while Harry Kane buried a penalty minutes later to hand Spurs a 4-2 victory at Camping World Stadium. The Parisians found themselves down a man in the contest after goalkeeper Kevin Trapp was sent off on a red card for a handball outside of the box just one minute into the second frame.
Christian Eriksen and Eric Dier also scored for Spurs, while Edinson Cavani and Javier Pastore put the ball in the net for PSG.

The two clubs traded punches in a breathless opening to the game.
PSG struck first in the sixth minute, hitting at Tottenham on a quick counter that left Adrien Rabiot with nothing but grass between him and Tottenham's goal. The midfielder unselfishly passed to a wide-open Cavani on the other side of the box, and the Argentine took care of business, smashing home the game's opening goal.
Tottenham responded in the 11th minute, however, as Eriksen smashed an absolute howler from outside of the box into the top right corner to equalize.
PSG promptly gave away a cheap goal seven minutes later.
A bit of lazy passing in the defensive third left goalkeeper Trapp with the ball at his feet and Dier closing on him quickly. Dier intercepted Trapp's attempt to clear the ball away from danger, and the deflection found its way into the net.
Before the half closed, however, PSG had its equalizer.
This time Cavani played the role of facilitator, playing a lovely through ball to Pastore on the left side of the box. The forward finished with a curling shot into the top right corner to even the goals at two apiece heading into the half.
The second half couldn't have gotten off to a worse start for PSG, however, as Trapp was quickly sent off on a red. Football writer Cian Fahey was amused by Trapp's series of gaffes in the contest:
"I appreciate this PSG keeper's commitment to hilarity.

The Parisians played valiantly on defense for much of the frame until Alderweireld smashed home the game-winner.
A handball in the box by Blaise Matuidi just four minutes later set up Kane's capper.
Tottenham is next in action Tuesday night against AS Roma, while PSG faces Juventus Wednesday evening.
