Ezekiel Elliott's Domestic Violence Accuser Speaks out on 'Toxic Relationship'
The woman who accused Ezekiel Elliott of domestic abuse a year ago reportedly posted about her relationship with the Dallas Cowboys running back on social media.
According to TMZ Sports, the woman wrote:
"Exactly one year ago today my life changed forever. Loving someone as much as I did, putting my all in no matter what happened. I finally got the strength to be the strong woman I was and got myself out of a very toxic relationship. Ladies never think you're too in love or too scared to leave because at one point that was me. There's plenty of opportunities out there for you. Love yourself first. Speak up and stop domestic violence."

While the woman did not state Elliott's name in the post, TMZ Sports noted it was "obviously about her relationship with Elliott."
Elliott was never arrested or charged with a crime after the domestic abuse allegations surfaced in July 2016. The NFL has been investigating since, however, and there is a "growing sense" it will hand down a "short suspension" following the year-long inquiry, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Schefter noted the league's investigation is still ongoing, though he said Elliott is "bracing" for potential punishment. That discipline could be a one- or two-game ban, Schefter reported.
Elliott was linked to an alleged assault outside of a Dallas bar last weekend, per ESPN.com, but he was neither arrested nor charged, and police have since suspended their investigation into the matter.
However, according to ESPN.com, "An NFL official said earlier this week that the league is aware of the situation involving Elliott and 'looking into it to understand the facts.'"
