As shared by Sky Sports News, the Argentina international has been linked with Premier League rivals Chelsea of late:
Guardiola inadvertently kicked off months of speculation when he brought Gabriel Jesus into the starting XI after he joined the club in January. The young Brazilian forward was an instant hit, and his emergence—coupled with a dip in form for Aguero—led to plenty of rumours.
Jesus suffered an injury shortly after and Aguero rediscovered his scoring touch, but that didn't stop the rumour mill from turning.
MailOnline's Laurie Whitwell reported on Tuesday a belief that the Argentinian's "face doesn't fit" with Guardiola, who could still sell Aguero to make room for Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez.
Guardiola appeared to lose patience with the persistent questions about Aguero's future towards the end of last season, and it seems things haven't changed during the summer break.
