Liverpool Transfer News: Thomas Muller Linked Amid Latest Reds Rumours
Liverpool are reportedly planning a shock move for Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller but face competition from Chelsea, Arsenal and Juventus.
According to Bild (via the Liverpool Echo), the Reds feel the World Cup winner could be tempted away from the Allianz Arena. The report suggested Bayern may be willing to negotiate following the arrival of James Rodriguez from Real Madrid.
Per the report, Jurgen Klopp has told Liverpool he wants Muller at Anfield, although Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is also quoted as saying the Germany international is "unsaleable."

The arrivals of Rodriguez and Corentin Tolisso will increase competition for places at Bayern.
Muller was far from his best last season, managing just five goals and 12 assists in 25 Bundesliga starts, per WhoScored.com. However, his creativity is unrivalled in the Bundesliga:
Muller has been regularly linked with a move away from Bayern, to the Premier League in particular, but it's difficult to see Carlo Ancelotti's side allowing the World Cup winner to leave.
Per MailOnline, Ancelotti has also refuted suggestions that Rodriguez was brought in to replace Muller, while Liverpool have already strengthened their attack, bringing in Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke.
Elsewhere, Liverpool midfielder Kevin Stewart is close to a £8 million move to Hull City, per Glenn Price at ESPN FC.

Per Price, the 23-year-old has left the club's pre-season tour and flown back to England for a medical and to discuss personal terms with the Tigers.
Stewart made only two starts for Liverpool last season, both in the League Cup, and with Jordan Henderson and Emre Can ahead of him, he looks to have decided his future lies away from Anfield.
Lazar Markovic is another player who could be set to leave with CNN Turkey (via the Daily Express) reporting Besiktas are keen.
The winger has spent the last two seasons on loan, and the arrival of Salah suggests he will see little game time next season either, making a departure likely.
