
Kyle Okposo Hospitalized in Intensive Care Unit with Undisclosed Illness
Buffalo Sabres winger Kyle Okposo has been hospitalized with an undisclosed illness.
John Vogl of the Buffalo News confirmed a report from Paul Hamilton of WGR-AM 550 that Okposo is at the Buffalo General Hospital's Neuro Surgical ICU after dealing with an illness since March 28.
"It’s a difficult thing for him to be dealing with now in this situation," Sabres head coach Dan Bylsma said, per Vogl. "Very, as a coach and a person, concerned for him and his situation."

The team also released a statement on the situation:
Earlier in the day, per the Associated Press, Bylsma announced Okposo likely wouldn't play in the team's final three games of the regular season
The 28-year-old Okposo is in his first season with the Sabres. He ranks fourth on the team with 19 goals and 45 points.
