Gillon sped down the court, pulled up several steps behind the key and banked in a three-pointer as time expired to give the Orange a 78-75 victory. Students and fans immediately stormed the court, as there was no doubt the shot left Gillon's hands before the horn sounded.
The Orange improved to 17-12 overall and bolstered their NCAA tournament hopes with the win over the No. 10 team in the nation.
