Patriots Reach Halfway Mark Without Throwing an Interception
The New England Patriots have yet to throw a single interception this season, becoming just the third team in modern NFL history (since 1933) to make it through the first eight games of a campaign without throwing any interceptions, per Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN Stats & Info).
The previous two teams were the 1960 Cleveland Browns and the 2008 Washington Redskins. The former team ultimately went 8-3-1 and missed the playoffs, while the latter merely went 8-8 and also fell shy of the postseason.
This year's Patriots are clearly headed for a better fate, sitting at 7-1 and in first place in the AFC East as they head into a Week 9 bye.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The lack of interceptions has been a true team effort, with quarterbacks Jimmy Garoppolo, Jacoby Brissett and Tom Brady each starting at least two games and attempting at least 55 passes.
Brissett's stats weren't especially strong other than the lack of interceptions, and the rookie is currently on injured reserve due to a thumb injury.
Brady has been dominant to the tune of 12 touchdown passes and 319 passing yards per game since returning from a four-week suspension to start the season, but even if he were to miss more time due to an injury, the team would likely be in good hands with Garoppolo.
The 2014 second-round selection led the team to victory in both of his starts, completing 70 percent of his passes for a robust 8.3 yards per attempt.
