Jerami Grant to Thunder for Ersan Ilyasova: Latest Trade Details and Reaction
The Oklahoma City Thunder have acquired small forward Jerami Grant in a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
Per Wojnarowski, the 76ers will receive Ersan Ilyasova and a conditional pick.
Zach Lowe of ESPN noted it's a protected first-round selection. Bobby Marks of The Vertical added it's a top-20 protected pick, but the 76ers will get a first-rounder if it falls between 21 and 30.

Grant was a second-round selection in the 2014 draft, but he made immediate contributions for Philadelphia. He averaged 6.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 65 games (11 starts) during his rookie season, then improved to 9.7 points and 4.7 rebounds over 77 games (52 starts) in 2015-16.
Ilyasova has played in only three contests for the Thunder since the Orlando Magic traded him in the offseason deal for Serge Ibaka.
The power forward only averaged 20.7 minutes per game with OKC, similar to the limited playing time he had with the Orlando Magic (20.3 mpg). He started 52 contests with the Detroit Pistons last season before heading to the Magic, all coming after his first seven years with the Milwaukee Bucks.
In his career he has averaged 10.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, also helping out with 36.9 percent shooting from three-point range. He should help create more space in the low post for the 76ers' young big men.
On the other hand, Grant brings quality athleticism and defense to the Thunder. Per Wojnarowski, the team had been pursuing the wing for a few months.
Erik Horne of the Oklahoman also noted the financial impact of the deal:
After spending big money on Victor Oladipo and Steven Adams on Monday—contract extensions announced via the team's official site—this could be a useful move for the future.
