Floyd Reportedly Set for IR

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported the Vikings will finally placed Floyd on injured reserve.
Floyd Critical Piece in Vikings Defense
Floyd has not appeared in a game since Week 1 after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. He also missed three games with a knee injury in 2015 and sat out two games in 2014.
When healthy, the defensive tackle is an impact player in the middle of the field. The former first-round pick started 23 games over the last two seasons and makes a difference against both the run and the pass.
Staying on the field has remained a problem for the 25-year-old defensive lineman. The Vikings likely miss him after a 7-6 start.
Minnesota has dealt with a long list of injuries this season, including key players such as Teddy Bridgewater, Adrian Peterson and Matt Kalil.
Shamar Stephen and Tom Johnson have picked up the slack alongside Linval Joseph on the defensive line in Floyd's absence.
