Darius Butler Injury: Updates on Colts CB's Ankle and Return

Indianapolis Colts cornerback Darius Butler suffered an ankle injury during the team's preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Aug. 27 and had been out since. However, he is ready to return.

Butler Is No Stranger to Injury

The 30-year-old veteran is no stranger to dealing with minor ailments. He's played all 16 regular-season games just once over his first seven years in the NFL.

Butler is coming off a solid 2015 campaign with Indianapolis. He racked up 50 combined tackles, four passes defended, two forced fumbles and one interception in 14 games.
