The Boston Globe's Ben Volin noted that Stork returned to practice on Monday.
Stork Suffers 4th Concussion in as Many Years
Stork missed the first eight games of the 2015 season with a concussion. He also missed three games with the injury in his rookie season in 2014 and suffered a concussion while at Florida State in 2013, per CBS Boston.
Stork is currently in a battle with David Andrews for the starting center position, with the two players rotating throughout spring practices and in training camp, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.
Should Stork miss more time in the future, Andrews will take on the starter's role, while Josh Kline has been taking reps as the backup at the position, per Volin. Pro Football Focus ranked Andrews as the 20th-best center in the NFL last season, while Stork was ranked 21st (h/t Rich Hill of Pats Pulpit).
From a football perspective, the Patriots are covered at center. At this point, however, the concern for Stork goes beyond the depth chart, as Matt Dolloff of CBS Boston noted:
Indeed, Stork's concussion issues could threaten his career. Certainly, the consistency with which he's suffered them is a major red flag.
