The USC Trojans long snapper executed a flawless field-goal snap during the team's spring game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, earning a standing ovation from the crowd.
But it wasn't just because the snap was so perfect—it was what it symbolized.
The redshirt freshman was born with retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer that begins in the retina, according to USA Today's Hailey Tucker. It cost him his sight in both eyes before he turned 13 years old.
