Speculation surrounding LeBron James' social media relationship with the Cleveland Cavaliers stirred Monday when the star appeared to unfollow the team on Twitter, per @kanyecobain. The user also claimed James unfollowed the team on Instagram.
Bleacher Report did verify James unfollowed the Cavs on Twitter on Monday, via the application DoesFollow.com. However, while B/R could verify he does not follow the team on Instagram, we could not confirm whether he did previously and, if so, when he might have unfollowed the account.
The argument could be made he was just cleaning house, but the potential implications could be substantial.
