WWE Raw: Potential Spoilers, Rumors, News and Preview for February 29
The Undertaker is set to reemerge on the Feb. 29 edition of WWE Raw.
After he and his brother felled The Wyatt Family at Survivor Series, The Deadman drifted back into the darkness. With him suddenly set to face Shane McMahon at WrestleMania after a completely unexpected turn of events on last week's Raw, he is poised to return to the WWE spotlight.
Will he take issue with Vince McMahon wanting him to fight his battles for him? Will Shane opt to have a proxy take his place?

Answers promise to surface as Nashville, Tennessee, welcomes Raw on Monday night.
A No. 1 contender's bout is on tap. WrestleMania feuds promise to intensify. For what else to expect on the show, a backstage report, social media and Raw preview on WWE.com provide a good number of clues.
News, Potential Spoilers
As last Monday's Raw closed, blood painted Roman Reigns' face. WWE then told fans that the beating led to him needing surgery:
"BREAKING: @WWERomanReigns undergoes surgery following @WWE Champion @TripleH's attack on last night's #RAW.https://t.co/wnRg2vh0GP
— Joey Styles (@JoeyStyles) February 23, 2016"
It looks as if there is some truth to that story. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Wrestling Inc), word emerging from last Tuesday's SmackDown taping is that Reigns had a pre-existing condition with his nose. It's not clear, though, whether the surgery was legitimate or purely storyline.
The former suggests Reigns takes at least one Raw off. The latter should as well, but WWE hasn't always been consistent in selling scripted injuries.
One of Reigns' rivals may have something big to say come Monday night. On Twitter, Rusev teased he has a major announcement coming:
No word on whether that is Raw related or just how major it really is.
WWE appears to be toying with Ryback's character of late. Last week, he walked out on Big Show and Kane in an apparent heel turn.
On the road during WWE's house show tour, the company had The Big Guy play a number of roles. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline noted, "Ryback is switching from face to heel depending on the night. On Friday night in Denver, he walked out on the Usos in a tag match and walked out on them, but last night in Louisville, he worked as a face in a singles match with Rusev."
Monday's Raw promises to offer some clarity on his character direction.
If Chris Jericho is in action in Nashville, he may still be feeling the effects of his last SmackDown match. Jericho posted a shot on Instagram of what a kick to the face that night did to him:
Y2J didn't work any of the live events over the weekend, per CageMatch.net, but with him and AJ Styles being such a prominent part of the show recently, expect him to be in action, bruised or not. As noted on PWTorch, Jericho and Reigns are both advertised for the show, along with WWE champ Triple H.
WrestleMania Card, Under Construction
There's ample reason to expect some twists and turns in the story of Undertaker vs. Shane-O-Mac. Some of those might come as early as Monday night with The Deadman rolling into Raw.
WWE needs to explain why Undertaker would fight for Mr. McMahon, or he may resist being corporate tool. Either way, this is an element of the narrative that needs to be addressed.
Over in the tag team division, it's not clear who is first in line to challenge The New Day (The League of Nations maybe?), but WWE has focused plenty on The Dudley Boyz's recent change in attitude.
The angrier, more villainous team promises to be in the spotlight again. WWE.com's Raw preview reads, "Expect Bubba Ray & D-Von to continue reminding WWE fans and the locker room that they're no mere nostalgia act—they're WWE Tag Team Championship contenders."
Whether they are moving into contention will be something to watch out for as WrestleMania approaches.
The Divas Championship picture is far clearer. A No. 1 contender's match between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks on Monday's Raw will determine who will face Charlotte at WrestleMania 32. Charlotte announced the bout last week on Raw.
That will pit two reluctant allies against each other in a showdown that promises to be a show-stealer.
As for the hunt for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the stage could belong to Triple H, thanks to Reigns being out. That could mean that The Game has to carry the load as he did on last week's SmackDown.
The Raw preview reads, "How will Triple H continue to assert his power on The Road to WrestleMania after injuring his Show of Shows opponent? Will Reigns even be be able to face The Game for his title at WrestleMania? Expect more fallout on Raw."
That seems to suggest WWE will look to further establish Triple H as the hated predator here. The attempt to sell Reigns as the hero worth cheering for has been met with mixed reaction, so this shift of focus is a wise move for now.
With Undertaker's arrival, this part of Raw may be overlooked some, but it is key to WrestleMania's build. Last week, Triple H bloodied his wrist tape to garner heat. What's next on his agenda needs to continue the momentum that moment created.
