Meanwhile, French outlet L'Equipe (h/t Get French Football News) reports Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was also a target for the foul-mouthed rant, has asked for a full translation of Aurier's comments.

On Sunday, BT Sport's Julien Laurens shared some of the right-back's comments and reported he has been suspended from the squad indefinitely (contains NSFW language):

Per French football writer Matt Spiro, Blanc promised Aurier would not go unpunished:

According to Ligue 1 writer Mohammed Ali, he added:

Ali further noted Aurier's comments have thrown his future in doubt:

Football writer Andrew Gibney does not believe Les Parisiens will sack Aurier despite the rant (contains NSFW language):

According to France Football (h/t Get French Football News), "Key PSG players are ready to reject Aurier from the squad."

Per Laurens, he has since apologised for the astonishing slurs, branding the comments a "big mistake":

After attacking not only the manager but his team-mates as well, it could easily be some time, if ever, he's welcomed back to the squad with open arms.

As Gibney noted, the 23-year-old is too valuable an asset for PSG to terminate his contract, which, coupled with his contrition, could salvage his career at the Parc des Princes.

However, it would be equally unsurprising if PSG look to move him on in the summer. In spite of the slurs, a player of his undoubted quality would almost certainly attract plenty of suitors willing to take a risk on him.
