Barcelona Transfer News: Shock Pedro Offer, Sandro Ramirez to Spurs Rumours Grow

Chelsea misfit Pedro has been offered a loan return to Barcelona after struggling for form since moving to west London, and the Blaugrana are reportedly "keen" to get rid of Tottenham Hotspur target Sandro Ramirez.

According to Catalan newspaper Sport, Chelsea have already opened talks to send Pedro back to the Camp Nou on temporary terms, just five months after he brought an end to his 11-year stay at the club (h/t Daily Star's Colin Harvey).

Pedro has made 27 appearances for Chelsea since arriving at Stamford Bridge last August for a fee of £19 million, but La Masia's academy graduate has played the full 90 minutes in just six of those matches.

Dipesh Argawal of Sport Witness recently explained that a return to Barcelona would be Pedro's only option if he were to leave Chelsea on loan. That's due to the fact he appeared for Luis Enrique's side in the Super Cup earlier this season and wouldn't be permitted to represent a third club during the 2015-16 campaign.

Harvey added that interim Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink is actively attempting to oust Pedro from the club, but Barca reportedly favour a move for Celta Vigo star Nolito, who left Barcelona in 2011.

Transitioning to the Premier League has proved to be a difficult task for Pedro after playing through the ranks at Barcelona for 11 years. Sky Sports' Peter Hall said Manchester United "dodged a bullet" by missing his signature last summer:

It's difficult to envision the Blues letting Pedro leave their ranks unless they have a replacement lined up. They currently need just about every asset they can get their hands on as they go about attempting a Premier League revival.

Barca are in a much more advantageous position and can afford to let attacker Sandro leave their squad this winter, with Tom Collomosse of the London Evening Standard reporting Tottenham are closing in.

The 20-year-old has made just eight starts under Enrique this season and appears to be a fringe figure at the Camp Nou. Barca tend to insert buyback clauses in the contracts of any youngsters they sell, but Spurs would reportedly insist on any such clause being omitted if they were to purchase Sandro.

Collomosse also claimed Real Betis saw a loan bid for the Spain under-21 international rejected earlier in January, but Yahoo's Andrew Gaffney said the Liga outfit are still interested in a winter move:

If Sandro were to leave Catalonia, one fellow starlet who could be looked upon as a potential replacement is Schalke's Leroy Sane, but his manager has said he's not ready for such a major transfer just yet.

Miners manager Andre Breitenreiter told German newspaper Sport Bild that while star winger and alleged Barca target Sane is a major talent, he should remain in his current setting for the time being (h/t Goal):

The 2015-16 season has been a breakthrough campaign for Sane thus far, netting five goals and making five assists in 24 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit. By contrast, the 20-year-old made only 14 first-team appearances for Schalke in 2014-15.

Speculation recently broke that Sane had a €37 million (£28 million) buyout clause in his contract, but Schalke sports director Horst Heldt took to the club's official Twitter account to deny those claims (h/t Reuters, via Guardian).
