Sunday, Jan. 31

The Hornets announced Lin was in Sunday's starting lineup against Los Angeles.

Lin Provides Quality Depth Behind Walker

The 27-year-old started 170 of his first 291 career games before coming to Charlotte but has come off the bench most of this season.

Despite that, Lin was enjoying his time in Charlotte, according to Mike Bresnahan of the L.A. Times. "I have a lot of people saying, 'Man, you're smiling a lot more on the court.' I am having fun out here.”

The former Harvard Crimson guard is averaging 12.7 points and 3.3 assists this season after scoring 11.2 points and dishing out 4.2 assist per game last year for the Lakers.
