The 44-year-old has not been on WWE television since his five-year run with ECW, which included a stretch with the ECW Championship.
WWE also provided footage of Dreamer and the Dudleys using kendo sticks to stop Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan:
This was a surprising segment—but also random. The Wyatts' feud with The Undertaker and Kane was not expected to last long, but the transition over to the Dudleys sent off vibes of randomness and not much sense.
Dreamer sent this tweet out after making his return:
This should all but ensure a six-man tag team match pitting the Dudleys and Dreamer against the Wyatts. More than likely, it's going to be a tables match, which could be the type of match the Dudleys need after a lackluster performance against The New Day for the tag team titles at Survivor Series.
ESPN analyst and WWE fan Robert Flores also sees tables in the near future:
It's not a situation where the Wyatts need to be put over by the Dudleys, but it should draw some interest until Tables, Ladders & Chairs—and nothing more.
