WWE's Top Stories, Rumors and Buzz for Week of October 31
Because of the fact WWE produces shows year-round, it seems like every single week we hear tons of news and rumors pertaining to the company.
The past seven days have been an especially busy time for wrestling reporters. The Hell in a Cell pay-per-view alone produced quite a few newsworthy moments.
Let's examine some of the bigger stories from the past week and a few rumors while we're at it.

Fresh Backstage WWE Rumors 👊

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Alberto Del Rio Returns to WWE
Let's start with the biggest story of the week. After over a year away from the company, wrestling for numerous indy and Mexican promotions, Alberto Del Rio returned to WWE in one of the most shocking pay-per-view moments of the year.
It's no secret WWE has been looking to fill the void left by Rey Mysterio's departure. The company needs a top star who can appeal to the Hispanic market, and it looks like they are banking on Del Rio for a second time.
WWE didn't waste any time pushing ADR right out of the gate. Instead of weeks of video packages and meaningless feuds with midcard talents, Del Rio was put into a match with the face of the company, John Cena.
Giving Del Rio a clean win over Cena and the United States Championship in his first match back shows the powers that be have faith Del Rio can bring something new to the company.
The problem here is Del Rio was given a monster push during his first run, winning the Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank and several titles, and he ended up becoming stagnant before being released in 2014.
It's still too early to tell if ADR will make the kind of impact management wants him to, so all we can do now is sit back and watch one of the best ring technicians in the world do what he does best.
WWE Signs More Tough Enough Contestants
Josh Bredl and Sara Lee won developmental contracts through the most recent season of Tough Enough, but the winners aren't the only ones who could end up working for the company.
According to PWInsider.com, Amanda Saccomanno, Patrick Clark, Daria Berenato, Zamariah "ZZ" Loupe and Mada Abdelhamid have also signed contracts.
This brings the total number of Tough Enough contestants to receive deals up to seven. It makes you wonder why they even picked winners if almost everyone from the cast ended up getting a deal.
I had the opportunity to speak with Daria and Mada following their eliminations from the show, and both expressed great interest in continuing their respective pursuits of a career in professional wrestling. It looks like their hard work has paid off.
Patrick's elimination came as a shock to many because of his experience in the ring and obvious passion for the sport, but his ego was his undoing in the end.
The most shocking signee might be ZZ. While he had a certain kind of charisma that drew people in, he showed little desire to improve his cardio. We all know reality TV is never a true representation of anything, so perhaps his dedication wasn't portrayed accurately.
Amanda has already landed a spot on the next season of Total Divas, so management clearly sees value in the mean-girl persona she cultivated on Tough Enough.
It's anyone's guess if these people will make it to the main roster, let alone NXT. The WWE Performance Center is one of the best training facilities in the world, but it's up to each individual who passes through its doors to put in the necessary work to make it to Raw and SmackDown.
Injuries and Blading Rumors
"I'm not one for sympathy so please no need to tell me Best wishes and the like. Its just part of the life I've choose and wouldn't change....
— William Regal (@RealKingRegal) October 30, 2015"
According to WWE.com, Brock Lesnar, Rusev and NXT's Colin Cassady have all suffered injuries within the past week, while William Regal underwent neck surgery to resolve an existing issue with his C3, C4, C5 and C6 vertebrae.
Cassady fell victim to a torn MCL while attacking Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, and Rusev suffered a proximal bicep tendon rupture during a match with Neville.
Lesnar received staples in his head after being busted open following a collision with a ring post during his Hell in a Cell match with the Undertaker, but many believe he might have inflicted the injury on himself by blading.
Jim Ross addressed these rumors in a blog at J.R.'s Place. He doesn't seem to think there is any merit to these allegations.
"It's hard to believe that some wresting pundits actually believe that Brock Lesnar and Undertaker went into business for themselves and kept everyone in WWE, including the chairman, in the dark about their use of blood in their HIAC match. How the blood was derived may be another issue but the two talents taking matters into their own hands without approval isn't too likely to have occurred. Their match was the best bout on the show Sunday in LA.

WWE Breaking Ground
The WWE Network has produced over a dozen original shows, but the one that debuted on Monday after Raw may be the most interesting.
Breaking Ground is a program that chronicles the journey of a select few men and women as they work to make it to the main roster.
The first episode gave us a brief insight into what kind of training WWE hopefuls go through at the Performance Center. The ESPN special E:60 Behind the Curtain was well received, and WWE obviously saw the value in producing more programming that shows what happens behind the scenes.
Old-school wrestling fans might feel WWE is revealing too much with these kinds of programs, but we no longer live in a world where the process is a protected secret by those in the business.
Thanks to the Internet, and especially social media, we have more information about the inner workings of pro wrestling promotions than ever before. Vince McMahon was wise to recognize these changes and embrace them by letting everyone in instead of trying to keep them out.
In the 30-minute episode that debuted after Raw, we got to see everything from trainees building rings to Bayley getting emotional as she recounted an essay she wrote as a child about wanting to change the landscape of women's wrestling.
Anyone who enjoys documentary-style programming and wants to learn more about WWE would be wise to check out Breaking Ground on the WWE Network.
The Undertaker Making 1st UK Appearance in over 2 Years
WWE.com announced on Wednesday that the Undertaker will be making his first appearance in the United Kingdom in over two years when WWE embarks on a European tour in November.
It's unclear whether he will be appearing during the actual SmackDown taping or whether his appearance will happen off camera, but if he does show up during the broadcast, it will give us some idea of where his current storyline is going.
As seen during Hell in a Cell on Sunday, Taker was abducted by the Wyatt Family following a brutal match with Lesnar. The following night on Raw, Kane suffered the same fate.
Despite defeating Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31, it looks like we will see another match between these two at some point down the line.
With Survivor Series taking place after the European tour, it's possible Taker and Kane will recruit two more people to help them battle the Wyatt Family in one of the traditional elimination matches the event is known for.
If that is indeed the case, it's a big opportunity for whichever Superstars end up teaming with the Brothers of Destruction.
Speaking of creepy, demonic characters: Happy Halloween!
