Edelman's Injury Deprived Brady of One of His Top Targets
Edelman has developed into one of the Patriots' best receivers, recording more than 2,000 yards over the previous two seasons after having amassed just 714 during his first four seasons with the team.
Entering Week 10, Edelman had racked up 639 yards and seven touchdowns, as the Patriots jumped out to an 8-0 record. The diminutive Kent State product served as a major cog in Tom Brady's passing attack.
