The one-game playoffs for the American and National Leagues will be on Oct. 6 and 7, respectively, with the division series beginning on Oct. 8. The league championship series will run from Oct. 16 to Oct 25, and the World Series will tentatively begin two days later.

Here's a look at what the playoff bracket would look like if the regular season ended today:

American League
EastNew York Yankees91.2%
CentralKansas City Royals100.0%
WestHouston Astros88.1%
WCToronto Blue Jays91.4%
WCBaltimore Orioles33.0%
National League
EastNew York Mets80.8%
CentralSt. Louis Cardinals99.7%
WestLos Angeles Dodgers86.9%
WCPittsburgh Pirates93.0%
WCChicago Cubs86.3%

Essentially every division remains up in the air with the exception of the AL Central, in which the Kansas City Royals own a 12-game lead over the Minnesota Twins.

The wild-card races will likely go down to the wire as well, with six teams within 4.5 games of the Baltimore Orioles, while the San Francisco Giants and Washington Nationals both have a realistic chance of catching the Chicago Cubs in the NL.
