Hector Bellerin Injury: Updates on Arsenal Star's Muscle Issue and Return

Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin missed the north London club's Premier League defeat to West Ham United on Aug. 9 but returned to the club's starting lineup for Sunday's match against Crystal Palace.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger revealed his plans to play Bellerin on Thursday, per the team's official website: "Bellerin is back and is available for Sunday."

Bellerin, 20, was superb for Arsenal last campaign after Mathieu Debuchy missed a huge chunk of time through injuries. The young defender appeared in 20 Premier League matches, scoring two goals, adding an assist and earning a very solid 7.18 average rating from WhoScored.com.

Bellerin's excellent pace not only allows him to recover defensively and compete with the top wingers in the Premier League, but it also gives Arsenal another dimension going forward. He was one of the pleasant surprises of the 2014-15 campaign and has been tipped for big things going forward.

The Gunners missed Bellerin in their tame defeat to West Ham, and his return comes at a welcome time as they prepare to face the pacey attack of Crystal Palace, who boast Wilfried Zaha and Yannick Bolasie.
