Wisconsin Kicker Belts Field Goal from Under Placeholder's Nose
Wisconsin kicker Rafael Gaglianone went 19-of-22 on field goals through the 2014 season, meaning he's pretty good at kicking footballs and therefore only slightly in danger of pulping his buddy's nasal cavity by booting a ball off his face.
The Sao Paulo native uploaded a video of himself punching in what appears to be a PAT while his placeholder uses his nasal cartilage as a tee.
Behold, the special teams trust fall:
Kicking is all about teamwork and trust—and not breaking your metatarsals on your friend's body.
UPDATE: June 5
Welp, this is becoming a thing.
Arkansas State kicker Luke Ferguson posted video of himself kicking a ball off his placeholder's tongue on Friday.
Now, I'm just a humble doctor of pop culture journalism, but this seems against health code:
Guys, please. Do not try this stuff at home.
I know the backflip-catch videos caught on for a while, and that was great and all, but I really don't want someone to get kicked in the mouth attempting to tee up a ball on their molars. Don't you put this evil on me, college kickers.
Dan is on Twitter, wishing Charlie and Lucy had developed such chemistry.
