Greg Hardy: Latest News, Rumors, Speculation on Investigation of Cowboys Star
Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy is set to miss the bulk of the 2015 NFL season due to suspension, but the former Pro Bowler will look to have it reduced via appeal. No date has been given for a decision on the appeal.

No Date Set for Appeal Decision

ESPN's Andrew Brandt reported the "Greg Hardy arbitration appeal of 10-game suspension before arbitrator Harold Henderson has wrapped. No date given for decision."
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk notes it is unclear whether Hardy was disciplined under the previous or current version of the Personal Conduct Policy:
"Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Hardy and the NFL Players Association contend that the NFL failed to specify during the hearing whether league imposed on Hardy a 10-game suspension under the Personal Conduct Policy in force at the time of the alleged misconduct or under the version that came later in the year, following the Ray Rice debacle. Hardy and the NFLPA also contend that arbitrator Harold Henderson failed to force the NFL to say which version of the policy was used.
"
Hardy sat out all but one game for the Carolina Panthers last season, as he was placed on the commissioner's exempt list after being charged with assault against a woman. He was later found guilty of the charge.
Even so, the NFL decided to suspend the 26-year-old pass-rusher for the first 10 games of the 2015 campaign. Hardy appealed, as expected, and now the pieces are in place for his case to be heard.
There is no question the Cowboys are hoping for a more favorable decision this time around. They rolled the dice on Hardy this offseason in an effort to improve their anemic pass rush.
Hardy had 15 sacks in his last full season, but unless Harold Henderson sees his case differently than Adrian Peterson's, he won't be approaching that number in 2015.
