Jon Stewart Confronts Seth Rollins During WWE's Monday Night Raw

Jon Stewart will be hanging it up at The Daily Show soon, but he may have a career waiting for him in pro wrestling if Monday’s WWE Raw episode was any indication.

The comedian made an appearance at WWE Raw and kicked Seth Rollins in what can only be described as a sensitive area. WWE passed along a GIF of the action:

It all started when Rollins exclaimed the following to an Orlando crowd, via Marissa Payne of The Washington Post: “I am the most talented performer in the entire world. I can do whatever I want, whenever I want and there’s nobody or nothing that can stop me. … I could take over as host of The Daily Show for Jon Stewart and make that thing actually watchable.”

Stewart responded in jest, and Rollins then appeared on Stewart’s show and issued a challenge.

Hence, Monday’s proceedings. 

The WWE shared some of the more amusing segments of the two interacting during a mock interview in which Stewart lobbed some verbal affronts at the wrestler:

Former WWE superstar Lance Storm suggested Stewart had the best performance of the entire night:

Stewart may not have the size advantage over Rollins, but he is certainly known for his wit. Whether that, along with his kick, was enough to win the feud is up to the fans.
