When: Sunday, Feb. 1

Time: 6:30 p.m. ET

Where: University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, Arizona

TV: NBC

For the first time ever, NBC is not only offering fans a chance to watch the game, but you can view online everything that will be shown on the television for 11 hours.

This includes the extended pregame show as well as the Katy Perry halftime show and even The Blacklist, which will be shown after the Super Bowl. That means if you are stuck at the airport for the entire day, you will at least be entertained.

While there have been online options for the big game in the past, this is the first time the halftime show will be available. This is good news for the people who care more about the musical entertainment than the game, as well as those who want to hide the fact they dance to Katy Perry every time her music comes on.

Still, the biggest news is that none of this requires a cable subscription, which is usually needed for all online activity.

The entire promotion is intended to raise awareness for NBCUniversal's TV Everywhere, as general manager Alison Moore explained to Amit Chowdhry of Forbes:

"

Super Stream Sunday’ builds off of NBCUniversal’s commitment to create broader TV Everywhere opportunities for our consumers. We are leveraging the massive digital reach of the Super Bowl to help raise overall awareness of TV Everywhere by allowing consumers to explore our vast TVE offering with this special one-day-only access.

"

Even if you have written off cable companies for good, NBC wants you to know it still has options for you.

In addition to being able to watch all of these events on your computer, you will also get a chance to view the action on tablets for those really on the go.

For those who don't even have time for a computer or tablet, the Super Bowl can still be watched on your phone, although not through NBC. Verizon customers have an option of signing up for NFL Mobile, which will show the football game for people who are unable to watch it at home.

Of course, if you can't be home or at a friend's house watching the game, you could probably go into any public place with a television and be just fine. No matter what you do, figure out a way to get your eyes on the Super Bowl because this one has the potential to be a classic.
