
Kris Letang Injury: Updates on Penguins Star's Concussion and Return
Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang, who left the Jan. 20 game after taking a penalized hit from Philadelphia's Zac Rinaldo, reportedly suffered concussion symptoms overnight. He returned to action on Jan. 27 against the Jets.

Letang Starts vs. Jets

The Penguin have confirmed that Kris Letang is in tonight's starting lineup against the Jets:
Yesterday, Dave Molinari of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Letang was "fully involved" in practice.
The Penguins also noted he passed the concussion test.
Letang Suffering from Concussion Symptoms
Wednesday, Jan. 21
Letang was scratched from Wednesday's contest as a result of his injury, but according to TSN's Darren Dreger, the concussion symptoms subsided:

While that's certainly a positive development, expect the Penguins to tread carefully with Letang, especially with the All-Star break coming up.
The 27-year-old has tallied 32 points (nine goals, 23 assists) in 40 games this season. For as long as he remains sidelined, the recently called-up Derrick Pouliot will take his spot on the blue line.
