Harry Kane Costs Himself a Glut of Fantasy Points by Naming Himself Vice-Captain
It seems that Tottenham Hotspur players, like half the country, are playing the official Premier League Fantasy Football game.
It is always an agonising decision trying to decide who should be your captain to get those all important double points, and the wrong decision can cost you big.
Poor old Harry Kane learned that during the last Premier League gameweek, when he plumped for David Silva as his captain, with the Manchester City man only managing to bring in 2 points (doubled to 4) at home to Sunderland.
Who should have been his captain? Well, himself! Kane scored two goals, had two assists and got three bonus points during Tottenham's stunning 5-3 win over Chelsea.
Take away a point for a yellow card, and that's a bumper 18 fantasy points for Kane owners, but if the Spurs man had backed himself as captain, he would have been looking at a whopping 36 points.
Despite such decisions, he is doing well in his Tottenham league, he is currently joint second with Ryan Mason, with both men trailing only Tom Carroll.
