Footage has emerged of Wenger walking towards his train after the defeat, and he was greeted by a number of fans who booed and swore at him as he did so.
Fans' frustrations at Arsenal's up-and-down form is understandable, but plenty have found the scenes above distasteful and disrespectful to a manager who has given almost two decades of service to the club and led them to three Premier League titles.
