Steelers Record 100th Interception Return Touchdown in Team History
Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback William Gay recorded the 100th interception return for a touchdown in franchise history during Monday's 27-24 win over the Tennessee Titans, per NFL.com's Gil Brandt.
Gay wasted no time in helping his team reach the century mark when he picked off Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger on Tennessee's first offensive play of the contest, giving the Steelers an early 10-0 lead.
Mettenberger badly underthrew wide receiver Justin Hunter on the play, handing Gay the 29-yard touchdown return on a platter.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Just three weeks earlier, Gay had recorded the 99th pick-six in Steelers history, which helped his team to a memorable 51-34 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Now in his eighth NFL season and second stint with the Steelers, Gay oddly has three touchdowns off interceptions over the last two seasons after failing to get even one through the first six years of his career.
A fifth-round selection in the 2007 NFL Draft, Gay has spent seven of his eight seasons in Pittsburgh, with the exception being his 2012 campaign as a member of the Arizona Cardinals.
While not exactly known as a playmaker, he has yet to miss a game in his career and was a part of the Steelers' 2008 championship team.
According to Pro-Football-Reference.com, Gay is one of just nine players to return three or more interceptions for touchdowns in a Steelers uniform and sits two behind Rod Woodson's five for the all-time franchise record.
