Coach Randy Wittman commented on his progress via Todd Dybas of the Washington Times:
"He’s able to run and do some things with one hand out there, obviously. It’s like I said. Until the doctor gives him the OK to start catching passes; that’s the next step, obviously, to get out there and start using the left hand. When that point is, I don’t know. She was very pleased with what she saw when we were in New York. It’s healing and moving in the right direction.

Beal Injures Wrist, Requires Surgery
"Bradley Beal is injured." It's a sentence that has been written far too frequently throughout the 21-year-old's promising career.
Unfortunately, it's time to dust off those familiar words once again.
The Washington Wizards shooting guard, who has missed time in each of his first two seasons with a slew of various ailments, is dealing with a wrist injury sustained during Friday's preseason contest against the Charlotte Hornets.
The Wizards released a statement on the injury:
"Wizards guard Bradley Beal underwent an MRI exam today that revealed a non-displaced fracture of the scaphoid bone in his left (non-shooting) wrist that will require surgery.
[...]
A timeline for Beal’s recovery will be announced following his surgery.
"
Turner Sports' David Aldridge reveals a potential timetable for Beal's return:
J. Michael of CSN Washington provides more details on the injury:
"Bradley Beal had an MRI on his left wrist Saturday afternoon, and CSNwashington.com confirmed through multiple people with knowledge of the situation that he'll be out for significant, though still an undetermined, period of time.
[...]
'We're still going through the evaluation process,' said Mark Bartelstein, Beal's agent, to CSN. Beal told teammates, CSN also confirmed Saturday, that he thinks he will miss significant time.
Beal didn't show any serious signs of swelling after Friday's preseason game vs. the Charlotte Hornets, and a team official called his removal from the game 'just precautionary.' Beal injured the wrist in a collision.
"
Beal, who is quickly developing into one of the best 2-guards in the NBA, averaged 17.1 points and shot 40.2 percent from beyond the arc last season. He has sky-high potential but needs to stay on the court.
