Liverpool are through to the fourth round of the League Cup after a 2-2 regular-time draw and a dramatic 14-round penalty shootout.
The Reds were taken to extra time by Championship side Middlesbrough after Jordan Rossiter's debut goal was cancelled out by a set piece from the visitors.
In the 109th minute at Anfield, Suso latched on to a scrappy Mario Balotelli strike to put the Reds 2-1 ahead.

However, the drama wasn't over, as Kolo Toure (who else?) conceded a penalty, which Patrick Bamford coolly converted.
Then it went to penalties. And there were 30 of them.
Bamford and Raheem Sterling both had their spot-kicks saved during the first five rounds, which led to sudden death—which wasn't particularly sudden.
