For All The McNabb Haters, and Some Predictions

OK, so this is going to be a little bit of a rant at first, but overall I hope everyone gets the picture.

For every Dallas Cowgirl Cockroach of a fan, for every Eagle fan that never understood, and every other NFL fan who has their head so far up their own a** it's time for some statistics.

Five NFC Championships.

1 Go-To Receiver in 10 years.

2 running backs capable of relieving the pressure of being a QB on every down.

A Super Bowl.

A QB ranked in the Top 10 ALL TIME TD-INT ratios. More touchdown passes, more yards, and more wins then any QB in Philadelphia Eagles history. Who am I talking about (in case the cockroaches had trouble reading the headline).

D Mac. Donovan McNabb.

This man has had more impact on Philadelphia as a player in a sport than any person has had in our city's history, excluding Benjamin Franklin. He has given us what every single Philadelphia fan wants, wins. And a whole lot of them.

People say he'll never win us the big game, a Super Bowl. Every statistic he has ever acquired playing here says that he is destined to win us that one thing we so desperately covet.

No QB has ever stepped out onto the field for us and guaranteed an opportunity for us to win. You forget, this is the guy who threw to the likes of James Thrash and Todd Pinkston for four years, not to mention threw four touchdowns to these AFL wannabes on a broken foot.

I don't care if we played Arizona that day, HE HAD A BROKEN FOOT!!!

This guy was booed on draft day, and although he seems to bring it up too much, would you really have preferred Tim Couch, Akili Smith, or uh, Ricky Williams? We hit the jackpot with D Mac, and at 32 years old, this guy is still one of the top-five QBs in the league.

He didn't lose Super Bowl 39. WE lost Super Bowl 39.

Donovan McNabb didn't lose 4 NFC championships. The Philadelphia Eagles lost four NFC championships.

And that hurts all of us, because we love our Birds, but its not over yet, and I'm sick of everyone ruling out McNabb, saying he's overrated and old, and has bad accuracy.

Every QB has a weak point. But other then Peyton, Brady, and maye Drew brees, please tell me who is better?

Whos gonna go out and give you an oppurtunity to win every single time he steps onto the field? Sure as heck ain't gonna be Eli Manning. And it sure ain't Tony Homo. Donovan McNabb is the best Eagle QB of all time, no contest.

The Eagles have given him not only what he wanted, but what he needs in a new offense and a receiving core with loads of talent this year. The Philadelphia Eagles are the class of the NFC, and WILL, and i say WILL, make a run for the Super Bowl this year.

Philadelphia Eagles could be at 12-4, possibly 13-3 if they can sweep the Giants along with the Cowgirls. Return to the Super Bowl, where Donovan McNabb hands the Cinderella Baltimore Ravens a loss by the score of 31-17.

Oh and people, nobody comes back from an ACL tear and is the perfect quarterback. Brady leads the Patriots back to the playoffs at 10-6, but they'll lose in the first round. Its tough to win when all you ever knew was cheating Mr.Belichick.
