Whats up, Panther Nation? Yeah, I know I have been gone for a while, but I'm back stronger than ever. I don't really have a lot to catch up on.

We got a new Defensive End in Everette Brown, also everybody knows about the Julius Peppers sitcom and the slim chance that he will get traded, and we also got rid of Ken Lucas.

But what are the chances that we make a run back to the playoffs? And will we make it past the Divisional Playoffs? History has shown that Carolina has not made a back-to-back playoff appearance point blank, but I feel that this team has the talent to get back into the playoffs.

I know it's not going to be an easy road back to the playoffs, adding the fact we are in the toughest division in the NFL and we also play a tough schedule this year.

In the first home game of the year, we face Philly, then head down I-85 South for a battle with our hated rivals, the Atlanta Falcons

The following week, we head to Big D to face the T.O.-less Cow(girls)boys, and Week Four we have a Bye?!

It is easy to see that this is already a tough schedule with the first three games. Two are on the road back-to-back, then from there, on we go to pull the throttle for the remaining 13 games left where we will face Washington, New England in early December, a trip to face the Giants, and a date with Arizona, the team that beat us in the NFC Divisional Game.

We are going to have to be focused this season. John Fox was even quoted saying that "We need to remember Arizona,"  and by remembering Arizona, that should be the fuel to this team's fire all season long. That should motivate these guys to go out there and play to their fullest potential. "Go Hard" like the song Kanye West has.

It is not insane to think this team makes the playoffs. Yes, we will have a tough schedule, but we must be prepared and stay focused on each week so that we go to higher levels of sucess.

I would love for us to win in Atlanta so they will shut up, and I would like for us to shut down Cowboy Stadium on national television, but we will see what happens in Training Camp, first.
