This is the Pre-Training Camp NFL Power Rankings as I see it. This is how the teams would be ranked if the season started today. So get ready to feed your hunger for all that is the NFL.

We're going to start at the bottom and work our way up. (This actually took a lot more time and planning than I originally expected. So congrats to all those others who have completed a ranking of their own.)

No. 32 The Oakland Raiders

23 Mar 1997: Running back Marcus Allen of the Los Angeles Raiders in action during a game against the Phoenix Cardinals at the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California. The Raiders won the game, 16-14.

This organization just won't cut itself a break. It's going to be another long season for those who reside near the Black Hole.

No. 31 The Detroit Lions

NEW YORK - APRIL 25: Detroit Lions fans wait for admission to Radio City Music Hall for the 2009 NFL Draft on April 25, 2009 in New York City. (Photo

The only thing keeping this 0-16 team from being dead-last...the new uni's.

No. 30 The Cleveland Browns

CLEVELAND - DECEMBER 21: Braylon Edwards #17 of the Cleveland Browns stands in the huddle during the game against the Cincinnatti Bengals on December 21, 2008 at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. (Photo by: Gregory Shamus/Getty Images)

It seems like Cleveland just didn't enjoy having a winning season a couple of years back. This team is falling fast.

No. 29 The Tampa Bay Buccaneers

NEW YORK - APRIL 25: Tampa Bay Buccaneers #17 draft pick Josh Freeman poses for photographers at Radio City Music Hall for the 2009 NFL Draft on April 25, 2009 in New York City (Photo by Jeff Zelevansky/Getty Images)

What's the saying about how if you have two quarterbacks that you really have no quarterback? Does that multiply if 30 guys on your 53 man roster play QB?

No. 28 The San Francisco 49ers

SAN FRANCISCO - DECEMBER 07: Delanie Walker #46 of the San Francisco 49ers carries the ball against the New York Jets during an NFL game on December 7, 2008 at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, California. (Photo by Jed Jacobsohn/Getty Images)

I think that Oakland's Black Hole is growing and pulling in the 49ers. This team is trying to become relevant again.

No. 27 The Denver Broncos

ENGLEWOOD, CO - MAY 03: Quarterback Kyle Orton #8 has the ball jokingly tipped form his hands by sixth round draft pick rookie quarterback Tom Brandslater #3 during Denver Broncos Minicamp at the Broncos training facility on May 3, 2009 in Englewood, Col

New coaching staff, new system, and oh yeah...no Jay Cutler. This has to be one of the worst offseasons ever for a team with a new head coach. How do you trade away your best player?

No. 26 The St. Louis Rams

ATLANTA - DECEMBER 28: Torry Holt #81 of the St. Louis Rams reacts as he is pulled from the game near the goal line in the fourth quarter while taking on the Atlanta Falcons at Georgia Dome on December 28, 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia. The Falcons defeated t

This is a very young team, but they are on the rise. They may be able to make some noise in a very weak NFC West, but they're still a few years away from contending.

No. 25 The Jacksonville Jaguars

BALTIMORE - DECEMBER 28: David Garrand #9 of the Jacksonville Jaguars shows his frustration after a late tackle against the Baltimore Ravens during the game on December 28, 2008 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland. (Photo by Chris McGrath/Getty I

When you don't improve year after year, you look around and find yourself at the bottom of your division. That's where you can find the Jags this season.

No. 24 The New York Jets

NEW YORK - APRIL 20: (EDITORS NOTE: IMAGES HAVE BEEN DIGITALLY MANIPULATED) Bart Scott of the New York Jets poses for a portrait on April 20, 2009 in New York, New York. (Photo by Chris McGrath/Getty Images)

They missed the playoffs with a future Hall Of Fame QB, now they will have to endure their rookie signal-caller's growing pains.

No. 23 The Cincinnati Bengals

CLEVELAND - DECEMBER 21: Leon Hall #29 of the Cincinnati Bengals is congratulated by teammates after his third interception while playing the Cleveland Browns at Cleveland Browns Stadium December 21, 2008 in Cleveland, Ohio. (Photo by Gregory Shamus/Get

The injury bug really crushed this team last year. Carson Palmer says that he's 100 percent and ready for action. The good news for the Bengals is they won't be as bad as Cleveland. The bad news, they play Pittsburgh and Baltimore twice a year.

No. 22 The Green Bay Packers

GREEN BAY, WI - DECEMBER 28: Aaron Rodgers #12 of the Green Bay Packers awaits the snap from George Foster #72 during a game against the Detroit Lions on December 28, 2008 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers defeated the Lions 31-21. (P

Green Bay is looking to bounce back for a 6-10 season. Aaron Rogers got mixed reviews in his first campaign. The Cheeseheads loaded up on defense in the draft, and with A.J. Hawk anchored in the middle they should be a formidable group.

No. 21 The Seattle Seahawks

SEATTLE - NOVEMBER 23: Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck #8 of the Seattle Seahawks passes against the Washington Redskins on November 23, 2008 at Qwest Field in Seattle, Washington. The Redskins defeated the 20-17. (Photo by Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images)

Seattle is another squad trying bounce back from a sub-par year. Matt Hasselbeck is back and they added T.J. Whosurmomma in the offseason. The biggest loss to this team is Mike Holmgren. Jim Mora has some awfully big shoes to fill.

No. 20 The Buffalo Bills

GLENDALE, AZ - OCTOBER 12: Terrell Owens #81 of the Dallas Cowboys warms up before the game against the Arizona Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium on October 12, 2008 in Glendale, Arizona. (Photo by Lisa Blumenfeld/Getty Images)

The biggest story-line for "North America's Team" has to be the addition of Terrell Owens. This gives them immediate production at the receiver position. It also has to make Trent Edwards just a little bit nervous. T.O. hasn't had the best relationships with his QBs. Stay tuned to see how this one plays out.

No. 19 The Kansas City Chiefs

KANSAS CITY, MO - DECEMBER 21: Larry Johnson #27 of the Kansas City Chiefs looks on during the game against the Miami Dolphins on December 21, 2008 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. (Photo by Jamie Squire/Getty Images)

The Chiefs had a rough year that caught no one by surprise. They were young, and well, not very good. They added QB Matt Cassel, so that's an immediate upgrade. They also lost All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez to Atlanta, so that hurts their receiving corps. They play in a weak division, so maybe they surprise a few people this year.

No. 18 The Houston Texans

OAKLAND, CA - DECEMBER 21: Matt Schaub #8 of the Houston Texans celebrates after Vonta Leach scored a touchdown against the Oakland Raiders during an NFL game on December 21, 2008 at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in Oakland, California. (Photo by

Houston will finish the year ranked much much higher than this, but for a preseason poll this is a good spot. They have a huge amount of young talented players. Too many to list in this little paragraph. The biggest challenge for Houston will be beating Indianapolis and Tennessee and trying to reach their first ever playoffs.

No. 17 The Washington Redskins

ASHBURN, VA - FEBRUARY 27: Albert Haynesworth posese with his new jersey at a press conference after signing a 7-year contract worth approximately $100 million with the Washington Redskins on February 27, 2009 at Redskins Park in Ashburn, Virginia. (Pho

As always, the 'Skins spent big in free agency. Their biggest prize was landing Albert Haynesworth to anchor their defensive line. They have lots of good players and just never seem to put it all together. They also play in arguably the toughest division in the NFL, the NFC East.

No. 16 The New Orleans Saints

NEW ORLEANS - DECEMBER 28: Quarterback Drew Brees #9 of the New Orleans Saints pumps his fist during the game against the Carolina Panthers on December 28, 2008 at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. (Photo by Chris Graythen/Getty Images)

The Saints just flat out underachieved last year. Drew Brees had an historic year throwing the ball and their division was a winnable one. I like New Orleans to bounce back this year and push Carolina and Atlanta.

No. 15 The Carolina Panthers

CHARLOTTE, NC - JANUARY 10: Wide receiver Steve Smith #89 of the Carolina Panthers looks on during warm-ups before the game against the Arizona Cardinals during the NFC Divisional Playoff Game on January 10, 2009 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte,

Carolina was a solid team last year who got bounced from the playoffs by red-hot Arizona. Jake Delhomme is another year older and we'll have to wait and see how much arm he has left. The positive for Carolina is their division is wide-open once again.

No. 14 The Baltimore Ravens

PITTSBURGH - JANUARY 18: A detail of the back of the jersey worn by Joe Flacco #5 of the Baltimore Ravens against the Pittsburgh Steelers during the AFC Championship game on January 18, 2009 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Steelers won 23-14.

That picture says it all. Baltimore will go as far as Joe Flacco can take them. He must get more consistent as a passer though. Baltimore's defense is getting up there in years, but with Ed Reed playing center-field he more than makes up for it.

No. 13 The Minnesota Vikings

MINNEAPOLIS - JANUARY 4: Adrian Peterson #28 of the Minnesota Vikings carries the ball in the first half against the Philadelphia Eagles during the NFC Wild Card playoff game on January 4,2009 at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesot

Get "All-Day" and his Viking teammates a QB and this team becomes a real threat to win the NFC. This defense was one of the best in the league last year and their running game isn't too shabby either. If Sage Rosenfels is the answer under center, this team will go deep into January.

No. 12 The Miami Dolphins

MIAMI, FL - JANUARY 4: Running back Ronnie Brown #23 of the Miami Dolphins plays against the Baltimore Ravens in an NFL Wildcard Playoff Game at Dolphins Stadium on January 4, 2009 in Miami, Florida. (Photo by Al Messerschmidt/Getty Images)

Miami turned the league on its head last year with its "Wildcat" offense. The Dolphins will be hard-pressed to catch everyone by surprise again, but don't expect them to fall off the map. The quick turn in Miami is nothing short of amazing, and they will be in it come playoff time.

No. 11 The Chicago Bears

LAKE FOREST, IL - APRIL 3: Chicago Bears general manager Jerry Angelo, quarterback Jay Cutler and head coach Lovie Smith are all smiles after introducing Cutler as their new quarterback during a press conference on April 3, 2009 at Halas Hall in Lake For

Jay Cutler is the story here. His arrival in the "Second City" drastically changes the balance of power in the NFC North. This gives Chicago the edge over Minnesota to win the division and it gives Da' Bears real hope for this season.

No. 10 The Dallas Cowboys

PHILADELPHIA - DECEMBER 28: Tony Romo #9 of the Dallas Cowboys walks off the field after playing the Philadelphia Eagles on December 28, 2008 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Eagles defeated the Cowboys 44-6. (Photo by Jim M

This is the show-up or shut-up year for Tony Romo and his Cowboys. A new stadium, a new attitude in Dallas, and new young faces. "Big D" has the talent to make a super run, but can they get it all to fit under Jerry Jones' circus tent? If things start slow, look for Wade Phillips' seat to get really hot, really fast.

No. 9 The San Diego Chargers

SAN DIEGO - SEPTEMBER 07: Linebacker Shawne Merriman #56 of the San Diego Chargers exhorts the crowd against the Carolina Panthers on September 7, 2008 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California. The Panthers won 26-24. (Photo by Stephen Dunn/Getty Im

This team has to be the biggest crap-shoot in the whole league. San Diego is easily the most talented team up and down the roster, but they are also the most inconsistent. You just never know which team is going to show up. The return of Shawn Merriman should get this team back on the winning track.

No. 8 The Arizona Cardinals

TAMPA, FL - FEBRUARY 01: Larry Fitzgerald #11 of the Arizona Cardinals catches the ball against the Pittsburgh Steelers during Super Bowl XLIII on February 1, 2009 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. (Photo by Jamie Squire/Getty Images)

The Cardinals got hot at the right time of the season last year. They rode that wave all the way to the Super Bowl. Larry Fitzgerald put up numbers the NFL had never seen before. The Cardinal play in a terrible division, so look for them come playoff time.

No. 7 The Tennessee Titans

NASHVILLE, TN - SEPTEMBER 21: Head coach Jeff Fisher of the Tennessee Titans watches on against the Houston Texans during their game at LP Field on September 21, 2008 in Nashville, Tennessee. (Photo by Streeter Lecka/Getty Images)

Tennessee looked unstoppable at times last year. Kerry Collins coming back party and that defense took the AFC South by storm. Will the lost Albert Haynesworth to free agency hurt the defense? Can Kerry Collins do it again? What do they do with Vince Young? Stayed tuned to find out.

No. 6 The Atlanta Falcons

GLENDALE, AZ - JANUARY 03: Quarterback Matt Ryan #2 of the Atlanta Falcons reacts after throwing an interception in the NFC Wild Card Game against the Arizona Cardinals on January 3, 2009 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The Cardina

Atlanta No. 6? You gotta be crazy! Nope. This team is for real, period. The Falcons had probably the most balanced offense in the league last year, to which they added All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez. This team will go as far as Matt Ryan will lead them, and that's into the playoffs.

No. 5 The New York Giants

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - JANUARY 11: Eli Manning #10 of the New York Giants looks to hand off the ball against the Philadelphia Eagles during the NFC Divisional Playoff Game on January 11, 2009 at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Eagles

New York was a really, really, good team last year. Oh, and that was without their best defender, Osi Umenyiora. They will need to make up for the loss of Plaxico Burress though. If they can take care of that, look out NFC.

No. 4 The Indianapolis Colts

INDIANAPOLIS - DECEMBER 28: Quarterback Peyton Manning #18 of the Indianapolis Colts unsnaps his helmet during the game against the Tennessee Titans on December 28, 2008 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. (Photo by: Jamie Squire/Getty Images)

The Colts aren't as good as they have been in the past, but they're still really good. New head coach, new coaching staff, and no Marvin Harrison. Will the new coaches have an affect on the Colts? Can Peyton get these guys into another Super Bowl before the window closes?

No. 3 The Philadelphia Eagles

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - JANUARY 11: Donovan McNabb #5 of the Philadelphia Eagles looks to pass against the New York Giants during the NFC Divisional Playoff Game on January 11, 2009 at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. (Photo by Chris McGrath

Philadelphia's season will again hinge on whether or not they can stay healthy. Brian Westbrook has a new injury apparently and will they run the ball enough to be affective anyway? This team has a huge passing game with McNabb at the helm. This is another team that could win the NFC.

No. 2 The New England Patriots

GLENDALE, AZ - FEBRUARY 03: Tom Brady #12 of the New England Patriots, walks off the field after losing to the New York Giants 17-14 in Super Bowl XLII on February 3, 2008 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. (Photo by Donald Miral

Not sure if you guys have heard or not, but Tom Brady is back. That means that the Patriots have to be ranked up here. The offense that scored the most points in NFL history is whole again. Look for Brady's bunch to challenge for another Lombardi Trophy.

No. 1 The Pittsburgh Steelers

TAMPA, FL - FEBRUARY 01: Super Bowl MVP Santonio Holmes #10 of the Pittsburgh Steelers celebrates with the Vince Lombardi trophy after their 27-23 win against the Arizona Cardinals during Super Bowl XLIII on February 1, 2009 at Raymond James Stadium in T

Well, to be the man, you gotta beat the man. The man is the Pittsburgh Steelers. They brought home their sixth championship last year. The scary part for the NFL? Everyone from that team is back. Pittsburgh will be a dominant force again this year.
