Game Three: Broncos

If a win

JJ Arrington gets 78 yards and a touchdown, but the Broncos throw in Lamont Jordan just to piss-off the Raiders. Although he got a touchdown, he only had 34 yards on 16 carries. On one play, Nnamdi Asomugha hits him like crazy on a screen pass, and he stays on the ground for 17 seconds. He wasn’t injured.

Want Cutler back? Not much happened in the passing game for the Donkeys. No touchdowns, one turnover, 104 yards passing.

Jamarcus Russell went 21 out of 24 for 207 yards, and two touchdowns plus an interception. Schillens and Miller both get their second touchdowns in three games. Darrius Heyward-Bey gets 123 yards but no touchdowns.

Justin Fargas gets his most carries so far this season—24. And on those 24 carries to him, he got 131 yards plus a touchdown. Michael Bush only gets 4 carries, 13 yards. McFadden: 12 carries, 55 yards and a TD.

Shane Lechler doesn’t have to punt much, and averages a pretty good 54 yards per boot. Janakowski: 2-0 for field goals (34 yards, 54 yards) 4-0 for PATs.

Raiders 34, Broncos 20

If a loss

Lamont Jordan: 123 yards on 32 carries, two touchdowns. After the second touchdown, the “boos” got so intense that Jordan was forced out of the end zone (where he was celebrating) by a guard.

The Raiders’ passing D got burned so badly I will skip the Broncos’ pass offense paragraph.

Jamarcus Russell: 15 out of 23 for 65 yards, a TD (to Darren McFadden on a short pass), and two interceptions. He also fumbled, which makes a total of three turnovers for him on the day.

Justin Fargas: 20 carries, 79 yards, a touchdown. Michael Bush got 15 carries, 54 yards, two touchdowns. Darren got no rushing TDs, and only 34 yards on 14 carries.

Raiders 28, Broncos 41
