Indianapolis Colts, Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning

Icon TDs    INTs    YARDS

32        8        4,000

With the monkey off his back, Peyton will be more relaxed—which spells trouble for opposing defenses.

Tom Brady

Icon TDs    INTs     YARDS

32       7         3,500

In Randy Moss, Brady finally has a teammate who can make plays on his own. It should be a fun year in New England.

Drew Brees

Icon TDs     INTs     YARDS

30        12        4,00O

The Bionic Man is back. The maturation of Reggie Bush and the emergence of Marques Colston mean even better numbers for Brees.

Carson Palmer

Icon TDs       INTs    YARDS

34          11       3,700

With Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh to throw to, these numbers will come easy.

Donovan McNabb

Icon TDs       INTs    YARDS

34          11       3,800

McNabb has been the MVP at midseason each of the last two years. if he can stay healthy, he won't disappoint.

  1. How many times have we projected a outcome and was let down, we will see if I am right, well at least one of those guys will live up to my predictions(Peyton Manning)

  2. I think Carson Palmer is the 3rd best QB in football. Brees had a hell of a year last season, but I would expect Carson to outperform this year. Obviously, health is the only issue with McNabb.

Wish I could have landed any of these 5 in my fantasy league...

  3. These truly are five studly field generals when all is said and done...

For what it's worth, here are my predictions for how the five will perform this year stats wise:

    TDs INTs Yards
    1) Peyton Manning 34 13 4500
    2) Carson Palmer 31 14 4550
    3) Tom Brady 30 15 4050
    4) Drew Brees 33 21 4250
    5) Donovan McNabb 28 11 3650

  4. Wow, that didn't turn out too well.

Here they are again, in English:

    1) Peyton Manning: 34 TDs, 13 INTs, 4500 yards
    2) Carson Palmer: 31 TDs, 14 INTs, 4550 yards
    3) Tom Brady: 30 TDs, 15 INTs, 4050 yards
    4) Drew Brees: 33 TDs, 21 INTs, 4250 yards
    5) Donovan McNabb: 28 TDs, 11 INTs, 3650 yards

  5. The Top 5 are pretty much solid it's 6-10 that's hairy. Here's mine:

6.Marc Bulger (would've replaced Brees on my list.)

    7. Phillip Rivers

    8. Matt Hasselbeck

    9. Jon Kitna

    10. Jay Cutler

    1. I love McNabb being on the list. That's brave and smart and makes me feel good inside. Ron is right; 6-10 is anyone's guess. How about the worst five? Here's mine (in reverse order of suckiness): Pennington, whoever wins the Cleveland job, Harrington, Tarvaris Jackson, and Brodie Croyle.

  6. As far as the worst QB's you've gotta cut the rookies and second year guys some slack. I'm going after the players with three or more years as a starter.

    1. Rex Grossman - Cost me big time in my FFL.

    2. Chad Pennington - A major disappointment, took year of of Curtis Martin's career.

    3. Bryan Leftwich - What is it with these QBs from Marshall U. How good was the QB that played with Randy Moss, I wonder?

    4. Eli Manning - I don't know why this guy was selected that high in the draft. He will not be mentioned in the same sentence as Peyton after this season.

    5. Jake Delhomme - Just imagine, two seasons ago this guy was in the top 10 and working his way up the list.
