We Remember: The Lakers' Short Shorts Against the Celtics in 2007

The Lakers paid tribute to their predecessors in a 2007 game against the Celtics by rocking some (seriously) short shorts. It has been six years since the game was played, but here's hoping that it is never forgotten.

Kobe Bryant was less-than-thrilled about the change of apparel. 

"I don't know what it feels like to wear a thong, but I imagine it feels something like what we had on in the first half," he said, per the Associated Press (via ESPN). "I felt violated. I felt naked. It's one thing to see films with guys wearing those things. ... I'd rather stay warm, man."

The Lakers went on to lose despite their shorts, 110-91.
