The Thursday, April 11 edition of TNA Impact! Wrestling, which aired live from Corpus Christi, TX, began with a video package introducing the show and latest events.

Match No. 1: Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez vs. Bobby Roode and Austin Aries for the TNA Tag Team Championship.

Your winners via pin fall and new TNA Tag Team champions: Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez.

That was an unexpected title switch, although TNA gave the benefit of the doubt by having Guerrero and Hernandez win back the Tag Team belts in front of their hometown crowd. A terrific way to begin Impact! Wrestling with solid tag team action.

Match Rating: 4/5.

Outside the arena, Aces and Eights gather before entering the building.

Joseph Park came out to the ring and began to discuss about Aces and Eights. Park demanded that the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray stop his actions with Aces and Eights and that Hardy will recapture the title.

Park holds up a piece of paper that he plans to submit into court regarding Brooke Hogan divorcing Ray. Suddenly, Devon arrived to the ring and shredded the piece of paper in front of Park. As Park started to pick up the pieces of paper, Devon pulled out a chain and attacked him in the ring.

Match No. 2: Gail Kim vs. Taryn Terrell.

Your winner via pin fall: Taryn Terrell.

With the victory, Terrell won her first TNA match. Short but decent enough match, despite that, the Terrell and Kim feud has not quite sparked on television just yet.

Match Rating: 2.5/5.

Backstage, the TNA Gut Check judge Bruce Prichard announced that Magno will go to the ring later on Impact! Wrestling to face his fate. Meanwhile, Adam Pearce got eliminated from Gut Check.

Hulk Hogan is up next and heads towards the ring to a loud ovation. Hogan immediately calls out AJ Styles to the ring. As Styles was briefly speaking, James Storm comes forward at the entrance way. As soon as Storms challenged Styles to a fight, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian interrupted and made their way to the ring.

Kazarian and Daniels attempted to convince Styles to join their team instead of TNA or Aces and Eights. As Styles attempted to walk away once more, Hogan announced that The Phenomenal One will face Storm next week on Impact! Wrestling.

Match No. 3: Joey Ryan vs. Rob Terry.

Your winner via pin fall: Rob Terry.

Ryan has absolutely no offense in this match, as Terry was completely dominant. Unfortunately, there was nothing special about this match.

Match Rating: 1.5/5.

TNA announcer Jeremy Borash introduced Magno to the ring. However, Magno was quickly voted off for his opportunity to earn a TNA contract.

Match No. 4: Bully Ray vs. Jeff Hardy for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Your winner to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Bully Ray.

A very entertaining and action packed full metal mayhem main event match. Hardy and Ray took some serious bumps to put together a terrific battle to close out Impact! Wresting.

Match Rating: 4.5/5.
