Well, as we all know, WrestleMania XXV concluded this past Sunday with many unexpected outcomes.
TAG TEAM TITLE UNIFICATION MATCH
What should have happened:
Well considering Morrison is expected to make it big as a singles superstar and The Miz is pitiful, the Colons should have won it, and yes, the match should have been on the main card.
What did happen: The Colons did win, but no one ever got to see it.
25 DIVA BATTLE ROYAL
What should have happened: The match was supposed to be a showcase of the best WWE divas of the past and present. Someone like Trish Stratus or Beth Phoenix should have won it.
What did happen: Do I really need to review the crap that took place there (Santino Marella in drag won the match.)?
MONEY in the BANK LADDER MATCH
What should have happened: The match always leads to the winner getting a huge push and there were many deserving superstars like Christian, Benjamin, or MVP who could have claimed it
what did happen:CM Punk won the match for the second year running in one if the poorest booking decisions ever.
MATT HARDY VS. JEFF HARDY
What should have happened: The match could have gone either way but perhaps Matt should have won to give the feud some credibility.
What did happen: Matt won, but the feud looks far from over.
INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH
What should have happened: The Intercontinental title was defended at WrestleMania after a long time, and it at least deserved a proper match. And did JBL deserve to go out on such a low?
What did happen: The WWE again made a mockery out of the title with Rey Mysterio winning in 21 seconds and JBL quitting, in one of the most dubious outcomes ever.
