If you live in Las Vegas, have a bookie or have an online sports betting account, then this article may be right up your ally. According to Covers.com, there are four outside teams who could be viewed as early favorites to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in 2014.

The Cleveland Browns hold 80/1 odds because of their new coaching staff and the assumption that Rob Chudzinski will finally have what it takes to straighten out the quarterback position. Careers are usually sent to die in Cleveland, so there's no question Chudzinski has his work cut out for him.

Additionally, the Redskins are also regarded as early favorites. They hold 28/1 odds due to the fact many are hoping Robert Griffin III will have an Adrian Peterson robot-mutant cyborg type of recovery in the months ahead. Not to mention a healthy and improving defense may help put the Skins over the top.

And the Super Bowl runner-up in 2014 with 15/1 odds from the bet makers in Vegas are the New Orleans Saints. The Saints transition to the 3-4 defense won't be easy this coming season, but it's never safe to count out Sean Payton. He will be re-energized and motivated to get the Saints back in Super Bowl contention.

Key draft picks this offseason who really put emphasis on its new defensive alignment and more offensive weapons for Drew Brees could easily fuel that improbable run.

Yet, there are few teams that are in better position than the Seattle Seahawks right now. Which is exactly why the odds makers both online and in the casino believe Pete Carroll and company will win their first Super Bowl in franchise history.

Super Bowl XLVIII is scheduled for Sunday, February 2, 2014, in East Rutherford, N.J. The state-of-the-art facility holds approximately 82,000 people and is an outdoor stadium with field turf as its playing surface.

This will be the first time a Super Bowl has been held at MetLife Stadium since it opened in 2010. New York will provide great entertainment for the people making the journey, but I hope they remember to bring their jackets as the first weekend in February isn't exactly warm on the East Coast.

The odds of them winning are currently set to 12/1. If betting suits your fancy, you can throw down $100 right now and turn that into a $1,200 profit if Seattle holds up its end of the deal. Evaluating Super Bowl odds through the eyes of the Las Vegas casino industry is a unique insight, considering the sports books have a ridiculously high winning percentage.

They either cheat or are really good at what they do. I'm going with the latter and tend to think they are really good at what they do. I'm sure Seahawk fans are hoping this one prediction comes true to help jump start 2014 the right way.
